Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Elemental Skin Care iPhone app (“the app”) handles information. In short: all your data stays on your device. We don’t collect, receive, store or share any of it.

Information stored on your device

The data you enter stays only in the app’s private storage on your iPhone:

• Client details: names, birth dates, birth times and birth places
• Skin assessments: skin type, concerns, Fitzpatrick type and notes
• Skin assessment photos
• Your product library
• Your settings and branding: business name, logo, colour and contact details

This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer device backups, which Apple manages under its privacy policy.

No accounts, tracking or analytics

The app has no sign-up or login. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites. We collect no data, and we neither share nor sell any.

Place search (Apple Maps)

Birth places are first matched against a list of cities built into the app, which works offline. If a place isn’t in that list, the text you type is sent to Apple’s Maps service to find its location and time zone. Apple handles that request under the Apple Privacy Policy. We don’t receive it.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add skin assessment photos, or a logo in Settings. Photos you choose are copied into the app’s private storage on your device. The app does not read or upload anything else from your photo library.

Notifications

If you tap “Remind me to rebook”, the app asks permission to send notifications and schedules a local reminder on your device. No push server is used, and no notification data leaves your iPhone.

Sharing

PDFs and images are shared only when you choose to, through the iOS share sheet (for example Messages, Mail or AirDrop), to the recipients you pick.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual clients, visits, photos and products in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Children’s data

The app is a tool for skincare professionals and is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because we collect no data at all. If a practitioner records details about a minor client, that information stays on the practitioner’s device, and the practitioner is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
